Grazia joined EnerNex in June 2010 as a Power Systems Senior Consultant. Since then, she has been working on a variety of projects ranging from turbine modelling to transient studies.
With regard to wind plant studies, Grazia performed load flow analysis for the Lakefield Wind Project, and harmonic analysis for the Milford Elk Wind Project, the Kahuku Wind Project and the Lakefield Wind Project. Additionally, she used PSCAD to develop a detailed model of the Clipper Liberty 2.5 Wind Turbine and the Milford Wind Plant collector system. Grazia performed power quality measurements at the Kahuku Wind Project and Milford Wind Project.
The utilities studies that Grazia completed include the root cause analysis of a 13.8 kV 40 MVAr reactor failure and the TRV analysis for a 115 kV substation.
Prior to joining EnerNex, Grazia was a Ph.D. student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts where she performed research for defining a control system to use the wind turbines as active filter. This research was published as a book titled ‘Wind Energy Conversion Systems used as Active Filters: Steady State and Transient Analysis’.
Dr. Todeschini co-authored 6 journal papers and 7 conference proceedings. She is an IEEE Member and reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Power Systems.
