Kay Stefferud, TOGAF® 9 certified enterprise architect, has over thirty-five years of experience in systems engineering, enterprise architecture, program management, product development, renewable energy projects, commercial network devices, software applications, real-time sensor systems, situational awareness, and advanced energy resilient systems. Kay specializes in transitioning new technology from the R&D phase into innovative products and integrated systems. She successfully produced new technology products for commercial, military, and foreign markets and is currently leading a Southern California Edison (SCE) project developing enterprise architecture for advanced grid modernization projects including the application, communications, and cybersecurity architectures. Previously, she led efforts to specify the requirements and commissioning tests for multiple microgrid control systems including security, interconnection, power quality and reliability tests.

Her deep knowledge of utility IT architectures will accelerate the development of your artifacts, and she will drive insight into the best formats to present information for your stakeholders. She has deep utility expertise and has documented IT, OT, FAN, and market trading/scheduling architectures for distribution, transmission and generation companies.
