Rohit Kunte is a Consultant at EnerNex Corporation. His areas of expertise are Distributed Generation, Power System Modeling and Simulations, and Power System Protection. His software expertise includes Matlab-Simulink, ETAP, RSCAD, PSCAD, PSS/E, C, C++ and Java.

While pursuing his master’s degree, Rohit was employed as a graduate research assistant at the Center for Energy Systems Research (CESR). His research thesis topic was involved with the development of a new algorithm for islanding detection in power system. The new algorithm is a reliable indicator of islanding and has been tested according to standard procedures. Besides this, he was a teaching assistant for Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Tennessee Tech University. He conducted labs for undergraduate classes. Also he has given seminars on ETAP software to undergraduate class.

Previously, Rohit was employed as an application engineer at Kirloskar Pneumatic Co. Ltd. in India. There he worked on different projects that include control system development, high voltage engineering and energy conservation.
