Tom Mousseau joined EnerNex as a Senior Consultant in January of 2009.
He is currently working on the Nebraska Statewide Wind Integration Study for the Nebraska Power Association (NPA) and NREL. His role is to provide data analysis, including wind siting to support the project. This study evaluates the cost impact of wind energy to Nebraska at various wind penetration levels.
Prior to working for EnerNex, Tom was a Project Manager with Ventyx Corporation in Raleigh, NC. There he managed simultaneous projects integrating customer requirements that involved multiple data sources into Ventyx (Global Energy Decision and NEA) products. Tom accomplished numerous successful implementations and project delivery using clear communications, customer expectation management, detailed implementation documentation, mapping product deliverables to customer business requirements, while being responsible for project planning, scheduling, team management, implementation and acceptance testing.
Tom also worked as a Consulting Applications Engineer at ABB, INC. During his tenure there, his experience and related responsibilities included project management, product management, and project engineering. He worked with management and senior personnel to establish business work flows to satisfy business requirements. In addition, Tom managed engineers and software developers to produce on-time deliverable products. One of his accomplishments while at ABB, was his development of a Post Analysis Cost Evaluation Tool to evaluate cost benefits of utility operating systems.
