Vadim Zheglov is a Power Systems Consultant at EnerNex.  Vadim has performed studies that identify integration impacts of renewable energy generation on power systems.  He has experience in modeling simulations and integration cost analysis.  He has also conducted analytical studies and simulations of various power system studies, such as load flow, transient, and harmonic studies.

Vadim came to EnerNex after finishing work on his master’s degree in electrical engineering at Tennessee Technological University. There he worked as a graduate research assistant conducting research in areas including distributed generation, machinery, power electronics and renewable energy generation. He was also part of a student group that planned, installed and maintained photovoltaic systems and small wind turbines at various East Tennessee high schools.

Prior to that, Vadim was employed by Philips Technology GmbH and BASF AG where he worked on development of wireless power transmission devices, integration of automation tools, and design of printed circuit boards.

His software expertise includes PSCAD, PSLF, Matlab/Simulink, EMTP-RV, Java, C, RPMSim and LabView.
