EnerNex Corporation is seeking experienced power systems engineers. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor of Science degree in electric engineering or electric power engineering (Master of Science is preferred) and have experience in conducting simulation and analytical studies of electric power systems including harmonic, transient, stability, and load flow analysis. Candidates should possess strong expertise with simulation programs such as EMTP, PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS/E, GE PSLF, and SuperHarm. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Access and Visio, is required.
Candidates should have a sound understanding of power system engineering fundamentals and experience in utility distribution and transmission systems. Interest and/or experience in wind and renewable resources engineering consulting, utility communications, and power system monitoring is desired. Experience in software development and/or customization is a plus but not required. Candidates should have excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to work directly with customers. Candidates must possess current eligibility to work in the United States.
