EnerNex Corporation is seeking power systems engineers with practical experience in bulk transmission studies and planning, power system operation and control to conduct ground breaking research and client studies related to wind generation.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering (Masters preferred) and industry experience with simulation and other analytical studies of electric power systems in a utility or industrial environment. A sound understanding of power system fundamentals and the ability to adapt this knowledge to non-conventional analyses and studies is required. Candidates should possess strong expertise with simulation programs such as EMTP, ATP, PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS/E, and GE PSLF. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Access and Visio, is required.
Interest and/or experience in wind and renewable resources engineering consulting is a must. Experience in software development and/or customization is a plus but not required. Candidates should have excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to work directly with customers. Candidates must possess current eligibility to work in the United States.
