KNOXVILLE, Tenn., October 26, 2007— EnerNex Corporation today announced their contributions to the IEEE Power & Energy magazine dedicated to wind technology. EnerNex Vice President Bob Zavadil and Consulting Engineer Jack King each contributed to articles in the special November/December wind edition.
Zavadil was the lead author of “Queuing Up.” It provides a report on the status of the industry regarding the task of interconnecting this new form of generation into the power system. This article also explores the collector system design within the wind plant, as well as, the connection to the external world.
King contributed to the article “Accommodating Wind’s Natural Behavior.” This article provides an update on the status of utility wind integration studies going on around the country.
This is the second time Power & Energy has dedicated an entire edition to wind technology and utility systems. The last issue was the November/December 2005 edition. The Utility Wind Integration Group coordinated the special edition.
