Since EnerNex^® is an independent company, we can objectively consult with all manufacturers and vendors especially in regards to support and compliance of power system standards. EnerNex personnel are actively involved in the development of both domestic and international standards and are acknowledged industry experts in this field. This knowledge also can be used by vendors to help interface equipment from one vendor into another vendor’s system. Our service offering in this area includes the following:

• Domestic standards such as IEEE P1159.3 (Power Quality Data Interchange Format - PQDIF), IEEE 519 harmonics standard, metering in non-sinusoidal situations (IEEE 1459), etc.
• International standards and industry organizations such as IEC and CIGRE. This includes standards such as the IEC 61850 utility communications standard, 61000 series of power quality related standards, and the 61400-25 wind communications standard.
• Regional and in-house seminar presentation on industry standards
