Technology Analysis and Transfer

Overview

A number of technologies related to power generation, transmission, delivery and system protection are being developed and brought to the market. A significant amount of research and development on the part of the U.S. Department of Energy labs, other government and nonprofit research organizations, universities, and private organizations and individuals has spawned a wave of innovative technologies that hold much promise for ensuring a more stable electric power infrastructure. However, their technical and market feasibility may not have been fully demonstrated or documented. Also, their impact on the stability and reliability of the electric power grid needs to be assessed.

The staff at EnerNex® has extensive experience in the analysis of power generation, transmission, and delivery technologies, as well as components and processes for improved system protection, reliability, and power quality. Our staff has documented expertise not only in technical assessments, but also market feasibility analysis and compliance with international standards.
