A 2.5 million dollar DOE NETL funded award to foster energy community standards for security interoperability. Lemnos is a collaborative effort between EnerNex, Sandia National Laboratories, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Consumers of control system network security products do not currently have a standardized or widely accepted mechanism for evaluating functionality, performance, or interoperability.
The Lemnos Interoperable Security Program will accomplish this by establishing a reference vocabulary, a common definition of requirements, and set of metrics for describing a product's functionality within the network security domain.
