Her experience includes over fifteen years of experience in proposal and production management services, as well as in government contracting and procurement, including the administration and reporting requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). She also designed and implemented a record-keeping system for government contracts, earning positive marks from a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers audit. Part of this process has included the development of a tracking system that is determining the effectiveness of the proposal process; as well as the creation of both employee and project databases. Within the proposal process, she has responsibility for analyzing RFP requirements; directing proposal development; making recommendations for content; and soliciting and ensuring participation from proposal team and subject matter experts. During Sherry’s second month with EnerNex, she served as the Proposal Manager on the largest contract award in EnerNex history. Prior to joining EnerNex, Sherry worked at PIKA International, Inc. (PIKA), an environmental remediation firm, as a Technical Proposal Specialist. Her responsibilities included managing, writing, and editing technical proposal documents. She also held the position of Technical Proposal Manager at MKM Engineers, Inc., a sister company to PIKA, with many similar responsibilities. Her previous experience also includes working at EOD Technology, Inc. (EODT), an international, professional services and technology company, where, during her first year, she was recognized for being an integral part of the proposal team responsible for winning EODT’s first $50M contract award. |
