Green Button Workshop

The Green Button Workshop kicks off with Erich Gunther and a NIST representative for the local welcome and overview of the NIST/SGIP role in developing and accelerating the Green Button concept.  Marty Burns of the ENerNex SGIP Administrator team will lead the bulk of the workshop on implementing White House CTO, Aneesh Chopra’s, Green Button consumer empowerment concept.

The Green Button Workshop will cover: what the Green Button Initiative is and who is implementing it, the expected functionality, the expected value from various stakeholders, lessons learned from implementations to date, and a deep dive into what tools and processes are needed to implement the initiative now.

Feedback from attendees will help determine the priority of actions necessary to accelerate the development of the Green Button constituent standards and the direction for a new SGIP Priority Action Plan on the Green Button.
