by | Apr 22, 2025 | Article

We’re excited to share our involvement in an important industry milestone: the development of the NEMA EVSE 40011 standard, which supports the integration of electric vehicles into the grid. This effort represents a crucial step toward ensuring safe, effective, and standardized communication between EV supply equipment and utility systems.

The article—recently published in T&D World—was authored by Aaron Snyder of EnerNex and Steve Griffith of NEMA. Their deep expertise and dedication helped bring clarity to the complex technical, safety, and interoperability issues involved in enabling bidirectional power flow from EVs.

We greatly valued the collaboration with NEMA and other industry partners throughout this process. Working together to shape solutions that benefit both grid operators and EV stakeholders was truly rewarding.
