The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will convene the Managing Transmission Line Ratings Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 10-11, 2019 from approximately 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. The conference will be held in Hearing Room 1 at Commission headquarters, 888 First Street NE, Washington, DC 20426. Commissioners may attend and participate.

The purpose of this conference is to discuss issues related to transmission line ratings, with a focus on dynamic and ambient-adjusted line ratings. In particular, this conference will explore what transmission line rating and related practices might constitute best practices, and what, if any, Commission action in these areas might be appropriate. Further details and a formal agenda will be issued prior to the conference.
