Carrie Owens is responsible for the planning, development and execution of EnerNex’s marketing and communications initiatives to help create profitable growth and enhance EnerNex’s position as a leading electric power research, engineering and consulting firm. As a communications management expert with over 15 years of corporate and agency experience in the energy industry, Carrie leads the company’s strategic marketing and communications programs internally and externally.
Carrie previously worked for EnerNex from 2008-2014 as the Public Relations and Marketing Manager, during which she served as the lead for PR initiatives on the $8.6 million, two-year contract awarded from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Her career positions also include Program Director for Interprose, a strategic communications company, where she worked with clients to enhance their image and position within the marketplace through the development and execution of global marketing communications initiatives, such as product launches, sales collateral, tradeshows, campaigns, social media strategy, company website, and public relations. In particular, she worked alongside one of the world’s largest technical professional organizations to manage their global public relations and marketing communications content development program.
