Introduction to the New Low Voltage Standard IECTS63107
60-minute complimentary webinar presentation
NOW AVAILABLE ON DEMAND

CESI would like to offer to its audience the opportunity to keep up-to-date on the cutting-edge trends and technologies in the energy industry through webinars held by our experts. By attending our webinars, you will have the opportunity to get both the latest information and insights, make specific questions to our experts, access and download in depth material and get know and share knowledge with other people in the energy sector.

CESI first webinar focuses on IEC TS 63107, a new international technical specification, within the IEC 61439 norm and regulations, for the use of electric arcing detection and mitigation systems on low-voltage switchboards. In case of wrong action or external forces, in fact, an arc’s fault may happen and result in catastrophic damages to both switchgear assemblies and humans. Such damages might be reduced using arcing fault mitigation devices with quenching time of less milliseconds. Thanks to its widely recognized expertise, our KEMA Labs Berlin laboratory has supported the manufacturers of these devices by making the new specification available for both the operational staff and the laboratories, with clear benefits for their activities. During the 45-minute-long webinar, Cristian La Salvia, Market and Product development manager Low Voltage at KEMA Labs, and Ronald Borchert, Senior Test Engineer Low Voltage at KEMA Labs, will deal about this webinar’s topic.
